Hello Divas!!! So I finally caved in and got some of these beautiful blushers... and no they weren't on sale :(. But they are TOTALLY WORTH IT!

The first color I purchased was

08 Corallina

A very beautiful peachy coral shade with a white shimmer swirl 

02 Rose D'Oro

This pinky tea rosey shade is the love of my life right here!!!

(side note: one if my Youtube subbies told me that this what an exact dupe for s an exact dupe for mac stereo rose)

The last shade I picked up was

07 Fantantico Mauve

Words really can't express my love for this purple berry delicious shade <3

My Make-Up Don't Care: To Maybelline Falsies or Not to Maybelline Falsies that is the Question???

Okay... So I can admit when I am wrong about something... and this is one of the moments. I said in one of my earlier Youtube videos that I disliked this mascara, and now I have come LOVE IT! I am still torn about whether I  still like the XXL Pro Mascara over this the Falsies. The reason I am questioning it is because it is just easier and quicker to apply than the XXL PRO. I don't have to use one side to apply the fibers, and then the other side to apple the actual mascara. It is also easier to remove... sigh... reading this sounds like I like it more than the XXL PRO doesn't it? Lol.

First I would just like to say I looooooovvvvvveee these brushes!!!!

Apple Cider Vingar Oh How I Love Thee...

What do you see in the picture? Does anything stand out to you? No? Take another look and focus your attention to the ounces aka oz. Yes the number is correct that is 128 oz=1 GALLON!!!!


Now I know some of you maybe wondering, why would one person need all of that!?!?! Well I will tell you.

Apple Cider Vinger is one of my staple products since going natural. Apple Cider Vingar aka ACV has transformed my hair from hard to butta baby! After enduring its harsh smell for the health of my hair, I have come to love me some AVC.

Instructions:

2 cups Warm Warm (water that I boiled and let cool down)
2 cups AVC
so that gives you 4 cups of this concoction
I use about 2 cups of the risen for the soul purpose of I massage and cleansing the scalp
The other 2 cups I dedicate to cleaning my hair from root to tip.

Every since these dreaded scenes: (don't judge me these were done before I step my sound & lighting game up..lol)






The ACV is a great shampoo hands down, it leaves my hair and scalp clean, my hair is super soft and silky, and my curls appeared more defined. ACV is also good for you hair PH which is good for promoting hair growth.

When I work out and the sweats build up in my hair, so instead of alway Pre-Pooing (not saying there is anything wrong with that) I just chose to through a AVC rinse in the mix just to balance things out.

Now... one of my favorite favorite YouTubers the lovely and talented, and pretty funny Ms. Lubellacoils taught me a second use for this holy grail of liquid knows as ACV. Which is using it as a skin toner.



Now... please stay with me on this if you have seen my pictures, and notice a glow I give all credit to the ACV! Don't get me wrong I do use bronzer, but I mainly apply bronzer as my under eye highlight. I also use bronzer mainly in the spring in summertime (any warm weather). So when I added the ACV to my skin care regimen, about a week into it I woke up one morning and stared and smiled. [insert you got that glow from the hit film "The Last Dragon"]

 I gave my skin a closer look and smile, and was beside myself with excitement about my beautiful skin. Now you all now how I feel about the smell soooo it must really work in order to put this stuff ON MY FACE!!!! I So I hope you all now understand my obsession with ACV...lol. I will be trying out the organic formula to see if there is a difference. I will also using lemon juice for a toner in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.

Apparently there has been alot buzz going around about Mixed Chicks vs. Mixed Silk by Silk Elements. Some naturals are in a sort of up roar because they would rather give their money to a Black Owned business opposed to, other businesses, mainly Korean/Asian owned businesses.

Mixed Chicks gentle clarifying SHAMPOO 10oz  is $11.99 they also carry a 33oz size for $40.00 and that is not including shipping (now in the DMV area you really have to hunt for a salon or beauty supply that carries this line), and I believe the in store price is a little bit more than ordering online.
Silk Elements Mixed Silk Gentle Cleansing Shampoo 17.5 oz is $7.99 ($7.19 with Sally Club Card) which you can pick up easily at any Sally's Beauty Supply.

Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner 10oz is 16.99 they also carry a 33oz size for $50.00


Silk Elements Mixed Silk Leave-In Conditioner 12oz. is $7.99 ($7.19 with Sally Club Card)

Mixed Chicks Detangling Deep Conditioner 8oz is $10.99 they also carry a 33oz for $45.00

Even with the VERY similar packaging and product color I can really see why this alarmed some people. Consumer side I would have to go with the Silk Elements because I am one of those people out here where EVERY PENNY COUNTS! I have nothing against Mixed Chick I have never used there product nor have I used the Silk Elements Mixed Silk products. The thing with these black owned companies is that the prices are pretty up there. I remember about a year maybe even 2 years ago when prices went up on some Black Owned natural hair companies people were PISSED! Then the Black Owned companies issued statements saying the price of the ingredients used to make their products when up, so in return their prices had to go up.
